Anne Reynolds Day "Anna", 45 of Hanover passed away suddenly on July 22, 2015. Anna was born in 1969 in Richmond, Virginia and was raised in Roanoke, VA. She served in two branches of the US Military, the US Navy and the US Army. A highly skilled linguist, she was versed in three languages besides English, which were Spanish, French and Arabic. Anna was formerly a teacher in Prince George's County and at Northeast High School in Anne Arundel County. She most recently started a business as a freelance translator and was doing very well.
She leaves behind her husband, Shawn Patrick Day whom she married in Richmond, VA in 1999; her mother, Julia Reynolds; father, Courtenay Reynolds; her sister, Katherine P. Reynolds; her uncle, Robert H. Powell; her aunt, Charlotte R. Wendel; her brother-in-laws, John E. Day and his wife Marlene, and David Messick and his life partner Terri; her sister-in-law, Michelle Shryock and her husband Joe; her mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Walt Messick; her nieces, Lisa Marie Day and Kathleen Carter; and nephew, Matthew Day; and numerous cousins and friends.
