Albert Knopp

Albert “Whitey” Knopp, 85, of Severn, passed away on May 13, 2022. He was born in Maryland to the late Etta V. and Louis C. Knopp Jr. He honorably served his country in the Army and was a member of the Farmer’s Co-Op. He enjoyed spending time with his family, farming, traveling, gardening and loved eating steamed crabs in the summer. Al is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Beverly Emge Knopp; loving daughters, Billie Jo Davidson (Bryan Smith) and Marybeth Meseke (Rick); and cherished grandson, Giovanni Meseke. He is also survived by his brother, M.T. Knopp Sr., two sisters and their families.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, John and Cathy Belcher Campus, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
