Anthonia Birely

On February 25, 2017, Anthonia "Ann" Birely, 95, passed away at Seasons Hospice at Franklin Square Hospital. Ann was born on June 16, 1921, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a bookkeeper for many years with General Tire, and then had various part-time jobs, working up to age 85. Ann loved her family most in her life.
Ann was predeceased by her devoted husband of 26 years, James D. Birely as well as her four siblings. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara A. Brooks and her husband Butch; her loving grandchildren, Donna Harker and Michael Brooks, Jr.; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Maria Brooks, Michael Brooks III, Matthew Harker, and Monica Harker.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Wednesday, March 1st, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 2nd, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
