Arvil Nicholson

Arvil "Reds" Nicholson, a 48 year resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 14, 2011. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William and Nora Nicholson. Reds attended Mervo High School and University of Baltimore, where he enrolled in pre-law courses. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959. Reds was employed as a professional sales representative and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Baltimore. He enjoyed golfing, dancing, watching sports, walking, spending time with his granddaughters and loved being with his family, especially during Myrtle Beach vacations. He enjoyed taking "long Sunday drives". He is the beloved husband of 48 years to Mary M. Nicholson; loving father of Mark Nicholson and his wife Helene; cherished grandfather of Gabrielle, Hannah and Olivia; dear brother of William O. Nicholson, Jr. and the late Kenneth E. Nicholson.
