Benedict Demonico, 72, a former resident of Brooklyn, passed away at his home on January 20, 2015 in Seaford, DE. He was born in Gallitzen, PA on July 1, 1942 to the late Benedict and Leona Demonico. He was employed for 30 years with SCM (Millenium Chemicals), Hawkins Point, as an Instrument Foreman. He enjoyed singing Karaoke, crabbing and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, James Beatty, Gloria Redmond and Jerald S. Beatty; and stepfather, Hugh Beatty.
Benedict is survived by his wife Donna; four sons, Tony W. Ferguson, Joseph M. Ferguson, Vincent M. Demonico and John C. Demonico; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two siblings, John R. Beatty and Judith Kayden; and many nieces and nephews.
