Bernard Kaszewski

October 9, 1926 — December 6, 2013

BERNARD Z. KASZEWSKI, 87, of Crownsville, MD, formerly of Nanticoke, PA, passed away on December 6, 2013. He was a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy serving during World War II in the South Pacific Area. Bernard received the Pacific Theater Ribbon (one star), American Theater Ribbon, Victory Medal and Philippine Liberation Ribbon (one Star). He was employed as a Fort Meade Comptroller Division Chief, a member of the Glen Burnie Elks #2266 and served as an usher at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and working outdoors. He was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph M. Kashefski and his parents, Zigmund and Mary Kaszewski.
Bernard is survived by his wife of 64 years, Florence; two daughters, Lucille Anne Williams and husband Bernard and Diane Marie Cislo and husband Jeffrey; and five grandchildren, Jessica and David Williams and Matthew, Jennifer and Allison Cislo.
