Catherine Jacober

Catherine V. Jacober, 90, of Glen Burnie, passed away on Dec. 20, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital.

Catherine was born on Aug. 2 1928 to the late Frank and Helen (Reddish) Koch. She grew up in Glen Burnie and graduated from Glen Burnie High School. She married the late Gilbert Warren Jacober, Sr. in 1949. Together they had three children. Catherine was a homemaker and devoted herself to raising her children. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 56 years Gilbert Warren Jacober, Sr.; her daughter, Janet Ebert; siblings, Anita Arndt, and Lorraine Beever.

She is survived by her children, Gilbert W. Jacober, Jr., Saundra Van Fossen; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Frank Koch, Jr. and Shirley Middlebrooks; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie on Friday, Dec. 28 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29th, 9:30 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
