Catherine Ann Carter

Catherine Ann Carter, age 93, was born on April 13, 1928, and died on December 29, 2021.  She was married to career Baltimore City firefighter, James Eugene Carter, on November 1, 1947.  The couple moved to Linthicum Heights in 1958.  Her husband preceded her in death in 1970.  Catherine’s life revolved around family.  She was dedicated to her son and providing a secure and loving home.

Catherine is survived by her devoted son, Martin Carter and his wife, Melanie; grandson James Carter and his wife, Peggy; granddaughter, Beth Carter and her husband Daisuke Fujimoto; nieces, Linda Chase and Terry King; and three cherished great-granddaughters, Catie Carter, Caleigh Carter, and Aya Fujimoto.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, January 5th, from 2-4 & 6 - 8 pm.  A private Celebration of Life Service for the immediate family will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore.
