Craig Edwin Holmes, 62, of Pasadena, passed away on July 22, 2015. He was born in Pennsylvania on May 14, 1953. Craig was the beloved son of James E. and Ruth E. Holmes. His parents treasured their evenings by the water with Craig and always cherished their time together. Craig enjoyed the Chesapeake Bay and all of its tributaries, and valued the time he spent on the water sailing. He is remembered by the members of the Pasadena Horse and Pony Association as a president who actively brought members together to build horse trails at Lake Shore Athletic complex and later dedicated those trails to Alice and Phil Dibben. He was an avid fan of the Ravens, Orioles and Blue Angels. He gave countless hours to the community and volunteer events. He specialized in commanding a massive charcoal grill for all to enjoy and loved every moment of it. If someone needed help he was "The Go to Guy" for anything. Whether it was shoeing a horse or brake shoes on a truck he got it done. In his early days he played a major role in building interstate Maryland highways that are in use today. There was never a piece of heavy duty equipment he couldn't handle. He will be missed by all he knew and loved.
