Daniel Phillips

On August 11, 2008, Daniel "GB Wrench" W. Phillips of Glen Burnie, Maryland. Beloved husband of Janie J. Phillips. Devoted father of Danielle Brown and caring step-father of John T. Speck and Stefany M. Speck. Loving brother of Patrick Phillips, Susan Phillips, Timothy Phillips, Jeanne Bush and Wendy Carter. Cherished grandfather of two. Caring son of Leroy Phillips, Jr. and the late Pearl A. Phillips. Daniel was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1946. He was a member of the United States Army from 1965 to 1968. During his career as an Auto Mechanic, he was self-employed and worked at Auto Services Unlimited in Glen Burnie. Daniel was a member of the American Legion Post 40. He was a fan of NASCAR and drove in the NASCAR Busch Division from 1972 to 1978. He loved both fixing and restoring cars.
