Deborah Leaver

Deborah Lee (nee Staffer) Leaver, 69, of Linthicum Heights passed away surrounded by her family on December 25, 2018.

Deborah was born in Annapolis to the late Joseph and Betty (Pratt) Staffer. She was one of three children and shared a close relationship with her siblings. She grew up in Glen Burnie and graduated from Andover High School in 1967. After High School she begin what would become a fulfilling and accomplished career with Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman in Human Resources, she retired in 2010. She married the love of her life Raymond H. Leaver, Jr. in 1985 and together they shared many special memories. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, Special Olympics bingo, and was a Ravens and Orioles fan. However her family brought her the greatest joy and happiness. They will cherish her love and compassion often putting others before herself.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish precious memories her husband, Raymond H. Leaver, Jr; siblings, Joseph B. Staffer, Jr. (Marge), and Pamela Fetsko (Robert); brother and sister in-law, George Leaver and Anne Leaver (Craig); nieces, and nephew, Alison Mascetti, Denise Ripley, Kelsey McNeeley, Andrew Fetsko, Katie Leaver, and Megan Leaver; and a host of other relatives, and special friends.

The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie on Wednesday., Jan. 2 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.
