Doris Lewis

December 3, 1921 — November 14, 2017

Doris Lewis loving daughter of the late David and Mamie (West) Burka. Loving wife of the late John H. Lewis; devoted mother of, Timothy R. Lewis, Linda L. Lewis-McDonald(Fred), Mary M. Lewis; and sister-in-law of, Emily Lewis passed away on November 14, 2017. Doris was liked by all and always had a kind word for everybody. Interested in helping others, baseball and volunteering she gave of herself until the end. My mom and I were alike with different head strong personalities. I thank you for that mom. I love you! -Tim

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Friday, November 17th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, November 20th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn Park.
