Douglas Wright

Douglas D. Wright, 88, from Glen Burnie, MD, departed this life February 1, 2017. Surviving Mr. Wright is his loving wife of 60 years, Doris A. Wright, his three children, Donna Graham, Darlene Wright, and Douglas Wright, Jr., and his brother, Norman Eldridge Wright. Two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several step grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Mr. Wright was a retired sheet metal mechanic and a lifetime member and past Chief for the Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Company. He also served in and retired from the Maryland Army National Guard. He built the house his family lived in and loved vegetable gardening.

The family with receive friends at the Singleton Funeral Home in Glen Burnie on Tuesday, Feb 7, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will also be at Singleton, on Wednesday, Feb 8, at 1 PM.
