Elaine Lloyd

Elaine C. Lloyd, 88, of Odenton, passed away on June 29, 2016. She was born in Woodwardville, MD to the late Samuel and Frances Eugenia Crawford. Elaine graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1946. Early in life, she worked for the Veterans Administration. She was a dedicated and active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Odenton Heritage Society (founding member and served as 1st Treasurer) and Daughters of the American Revolution. Elaine enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, cooking, genealogy, her German Shepherds and was an avid Orioles fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Frederick T. Lloyd; daughter, Sharon E. George; and three siblings, Samuel I. Crawford, Alva Phelps and Ethel Disney.
Elaine is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey W. Lloyd Sr. and Gary S. Lloyd; grandson, Jeffrey W. Lloyd Jr; sister, Helen Zinn; and many nieces and nephews.
