Eleanor E. Pieroschek, 85, of Glen Burnie passed away on December 20, 2015. Eleanor was born in 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her Master's in Early Childhood Education at Johns Hopkins University. Eleanor also earned a Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision. She began teaching in Baltimore City, but from 1969-1992 she taught 5th grade Social Studies and English at Richard Henry Lee. Eleanor was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and member and president of the Local AARP Chapter. She enjoyed antiquing and also collecting salt dishes. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Pieroschek. She is survived by two children, Joseph H. Pieroschek and his wife Laura, and Carolann Lighthiser; and one granddaughter, Samantha Dearing and her husband Jesse. Flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made in her name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 308 Oak Manor Drive, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
