Ernest William Tester, Sr., 84, of Odenton, passed away on November 29, 2014. Ernest was born on May 15, 1930 in Annapolis, Maryland to the late Florence and Robert Tester. He was an electrical supervisor for General Motors. Ernest was a member of IBEW and UAW, as well as the MD State Stock Car Racing Hall of Fame, involved with the World Changers and Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed working at The Church at Severn Run and in his younger days, he enjoyed racing cars, hunting and fishing.
Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, June E. Tester and brother, Robert L. Tester. He is survived by his beloved children, Valerie J. Kulp, Deborah A. Price and her husband Walter E. Price III, Karen D. Smith and her husband Karl, and Ernest W. Tester Jr. and his wife Kimberly; his nine beloved grandchildren and four cherished great-grandchildren; and his dear sister, Joyce C. Zima and her husband Douglas; and his step-children, Judith A. Maranto, Pat C. Jones, Dianna Hargadon, and Jerome C. Koppelman, III.
