Francis Mahoney, Iii

Francis Joseph Mahoney, III (Joey) 55, passed away suddenly on February 6, 2021 at his home in Glen Burnie. He was born on September 14, 1965 in Abington, PA to Betty Bopst and Francis J. Mahoney, II who survives.

Joe enjoyed NASCAR, the Ravens and most of all spending time with his many friends. He was much loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Betty Bopst of Glen Burnie and his father, Francis Mahoney, II of Illinois; his sister, Theresa Mahoney of Odenton; his brother, J.P. Mahoney and his wife, Bethany of Millersville; his step-brothers, Howard Bopst, Jr. and wife, Donna; Shane Bopst and wife, Nikki; Russell L. Bopst; step-sister, Carol Naldrett. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl & Pauline Polston; Francis & Catherine Mahoney; step-father, Howard M. Bopst, Sr. and step-sister, Teresa Bopst.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, Feb. 10th from 4-7 pm. A private Funeral Service will be held Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
