George Miller

George D. Miller, 82, of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 23, 2014. He was born in Lilly, PA on July 23, 1931 to the late George and Erma Miller. He graduated from high school in 1949 and enlisted in the United States Army in 1949, serving his country for four years. He married the late Barbara M. Wagner and moved to Maryland in the 1950's. He worked for the National Security Agency, retiring in 1986 after 35 years of service. George enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling, birds, traveling and was an avid golfer. He also had a love for cats.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, William Miller, Francis Miller and Dorothy Hite; and two sons, Michael and Douglas Miller. He is survived by his three children, Raymond Miller, Phyllis Miller and Linda Adkins; four grandchildren, Aaron and Eric Schwartz and Elizabeth and Adam Miller; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Birdie.
