Herbert Stewart

Herbert Raymond Stewart, 68, of Millersville, formerly of Arnold and Glen Burnie, passed away on June 13, 2017. He was born in Baltimore to the late Donald and Dorothy Stewart. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1967. Herb was owner / operator for Tastykake distributing company for over 30 years. He always enjoyed bowling and playing cards. In his earlier years, he spent time coaching his children's sports, playing softball and getting together to steam and eat crabs. Most recently, he enjoyed photography and framing, spending time at his Ocean City condo and keeping current on world news and events. Throughout his life, spending time with family and friends was always his top priority. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Alice Stewart.
Herb is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Donna; two loving children, Michael Stewart and his wife, Trish, Janey Queen and her husband, Mike; eight cherished grandchildren, Taylor, Aiden, Callie, Michael, Lucy, Jack, Bo and Hailey; and his dear siblings, Cheryl Malecki and her husband, Pat, Sue Wehner and her husband, Ron, Ted Stewart and his wife, Joann.
Visitation will be held at Severn Covenant Church, 20 Gambrills Road, Severn, MD 21144, on Tuesday, June 20th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, at Severn Covenant Church.
