Herman Mcclure

Herman Albert McClure, 81, of Glen Burnie, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 27, 2019. He was born in Pennsylvania to the late Harold and Garnet McClure. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Herman retired as a master electrician from the Local Union 24 after many years of service. He was a member of the Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge and VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four siblings.

Herman is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Irene; loving daughters, Theresa Gysegem and Regina McClure; cherished grandchildren, Jacob Smallwood and Sabrina Gysegem; and his dear nephews, Michael, George, John and Jimmy Pappafotis and Tom Pellegrini.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Hospice of the Chesapeake.
