Jeanette Abbott

Jeanette C. Abbott, age 99, passed away on May 22, 2015. She had been a resident of Forest Hill Health and Rehab Center since June 2014. She was born on May 13, 1916 in Baltimore City to her parents, William and Jeanette Mueller. She was one of nine children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Abbott, Sr., her daughter, Helen L. Werner, and an infant daughter. She is survived by three sons, Edward R. Abbott, Jr. (Pete), Martin J. Abbott (Mike) and his wife Clara, and Joseph W. Abbott (Bo) and his wife Carolyn, and two daughters, Cecelia J. Wagner (Sis) and her husband Charles, and Roxanne Stroud and her husband Robert (Bob). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her long-time companion, Philip J. Damario, Sr.
The family will receive friends at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. ( at Crain Hwy.) in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, May 26 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Private.
