Jim Murphy

Jim "Murph" Murphy, 67, of Glen Burnie, passed away on May 20, 2015. Jim was born on August 8, 1947 in Philadelphia. He retired from Baltimore Washington Medical Center after 43 years of service. Jim enjoyed bowling, going to flea markets and he loved Disney World. He was also very active with the Baltimore Washington Medical Center and had made many great friendships with it's employees over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeremiah & Virginia Murphy. Jim is survived by his sister, Patricia Muir and her husband, Jay, and his sister, Barbara Murphy; his nephew, Jay Muir, Jr. and his wife, Kathy; his niece, Lindsay Johnson and her husband, Nick; his great-nieces and nephews, Nathan Muir, Payton Johnson, Emily Muir and Mia Johnson; his aunt, Judie Williams and cousin's, and his long-time companion, Julie Hitt.

The family request memorial contributions to be made to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
