John Moyer Sr

John Arthur Moyer, Sr., 60, of Glen Burnie passed away suddenly on October 22, 2017.
John was born to the late Wilbur Linthicum and Marie Suzanne (Pellerin) Moyer on May 13, 1957 in Boston, MA. As a child John had a strong work ethic and independence that caused him to leave school at young age and begin working to help support his family. He has been self-employed his entire working life through various business ventures including his real estate, he proudly never had a boss. He married Valerie Ann Finan on Aug. 23, 1986. He enjoyed cars, being the boss, but most of all he enjoyed being Poppy to his grand kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish precious memories his beloved wife, Valerie Ann Moyer; children, Leah Powers (Jason), Jessica Windsor (Andrew), Terri Berry (John), John A. Moyer, Jr., Valerie M. Moyer (Josh), and Wilbur Moyer II (Leilani); siblings, William Moyer, Sharon Morse, Karen Waclawski, James Moyer, Kathy Goralski, and Pamela Wheeler; 11grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews; adopted children, adopted grandchildren and special friends.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW, (at Crain Hwy), Glen Burnie, on Thursday, October 26, from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM for a visitation. A celebration of John's life will be held on Fri. Oct. 27 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.
