Leon Daciek

On Sunday, December 12, 2021, Leon Joseph Daciek of Catonsville, MD (Charlestown) passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side. Beloved husband of Susan F. Daciek and loving father of Michael J. Daciek and his wife Kathleen, Charles L. Daciek and Martha S. Umberger and her husband Lloyd. Grandfather of Kevin, Lisa, Allison, Patrick, Matthew and Zachary. Brother of Victoria Lucas and Rebecca Williams. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren; Hannah, Harper, Briggs and Huxley and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6405 S. Orchard Road, Linthicum, MD 1090 at 12:30 pm. Committal Service and Interment will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
