On October 27, 2019, Leroy Alfred Wolfe “Lee,” 75, passed away at University of Maryland Medical Center. Lee was born on April 26, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Vola and Harry Wolfe, Sr. He worked for Carr Lowrey Glass company as a mold maker, and then went on to work at BGE as a tool repairman. Lee was currently a member of Faith Baptist Church, but formerly a member of Faith Family in Sykesville. Prior to Faith Family, Lee was a member of Townsend Avenue Baptist Church, where he met his Lord & Savior, married his wife, and raised his children. To Lee, family was everything. His wife, children, and grandchildren meant the world to him.
Lee is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Lynn Wolfe; his beloved children, Jenny (Wayne) Rockwell, Leroy Wolfe Jr., Elisabeth (Gregory) Young, and Rebecca (Roger) Young; his cherished grandchildren, Annah (Justin), Tim (Brittany), Jordan (Michelle), Dylan (Alese), Emily, Austin, Ryan, Samuel, Sophia, Megan, Sadie, Ethan, Mason, Ella, and Michah; and his dear siblings, Harry Wolfe Jr., Libby Wittig, and Gloria Schneider. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lee was predeceased by his siblings, William Wolfe and Vola O’Neal.
The family will receive visitors at Faith Baptist Church, 7378 E. Furnace Branch Road, Glen Burnie, Maryland, on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 6-7:30 PM. A Memorial and Celebration of Lee’s Life will follow from 7:30 – 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 10 AM at Faith Baptist Church. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lee’s name may be made to Faith Baptist Church (please designate the ministry of “World Class Cities” on the memo line of the check).
