Lorraine Mosco

On November 15, 2018, Lorraine Beatrice Mosco, 96, of Severn, Maryland, passed away at her home. Lorraine was born on October 21, 1922, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Beatrice and Harry Corame. She was an assembly line worker at National Plastics Company in Odenton, and she was a waitress at the old Honey Bee, M&M Diner, the Paddock, and The Greenway Bowling Alley. She enjoyed playing BINGO, getting dressed up, music, dancing, and shopping. Lorraine also enjoyed crabbing, camping and collecting Betty Boop memorabilia. But most of all, Lorraine loved spending time with her family, especially at family gatherings.
Lorraine is survived by her loving children, Connie Alascio, Cheryl "Cheri" Allen, Glenn "Jumbo" Mosco, Terry "Tubby" Mosco, and Gene Mosco; her 15 cherished grandchildren; her 29 beloved great-grandchildren and her 5 dear great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two sons, Vince "Ace" Alascio and Ronald "Peck" Mosco.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, November 20th, from 3-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 21st, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
