Margaret E. Powers, 70, a resident of Pasadena, passed away on May 2, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born on January 14, 1943 to the late Troy and Virginia McPate. She worked at Freetown Elementary as a health room nurse for many years. Margaret enjoyed interior decorating and taking bus trips, especially to Branson, Missouri; but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Robert; her two sons, Tim Powers and wife Dawn, and Jason Powers and wife Debbie; two grandchildren, Zachary and Faith Anne; and two siblings, Troy McPate and wife Beverly, and Debra Taylor and husband Kirk.
