Mary Moon

On October 24 Mary Alice Moon of Glen Burnie, formerly of Linthicum, passed away at the age of 94. She is survived by her nieces: Jeanne Stewart, Sandra Cooper and Debbie Stewart, and her nephews: Donald Titus Sr., William Moon and Robert Moon. She was predeceased by her parents, John Sr. and Grace Moon and by her siblings, Thomas Moon, John Moon Jr., Louise Moon and Stella Pocklington. Mary served her country from 1943 to 1968 in the United States Army and retired SFC. She loved to travel and has been all over the world. She also enjoyed doing volunteer work in her community. Mary was recognized for her volunteer work and her military accomplishments and served as Grand Marshal during the Memorial Day Parade in 2005. More than anything though, Mary enjoyed spending time with her loving nieces and nephews.
