Mary Young

On June 25, 2017, Mary Hunter Young, 90, of Linthicum Heights, passed away peacefully at home. She was born in North Carolina to the late Charles and Josephine Hunter. She retired from Social Security after 30 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Charles Edward Young; son-in-law, Douglas Paul Jarosinski; and her siblings, Bryant Hunter, Virginia Houck and James E. Hunter.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Cheryl Young Shewbridge (Bill) and Donna Marie Young Jarosinski; cherished grandchildren, Ian Shewbridge (Lauren), Shane Shewbridge, Kelsi Shewbridge and Douglas Paul Jarosinski Jr.; and her Dear Sister, Irene Jones. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, July 9th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, 10:30 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
