On April 21, 2017, Michael Joseph Kreiner, 75, passed away in the presence of his family and Pastor. Michael was born on May 3, 1941, to the late Dorothy and Michael Kreiner in Baltimore. He earned his Associate's Degree from Anne Arundel Community College and also served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard. He then went on to work at N.S.A. for 35 years as a computer analyst. Michael was a member of the Phoenix Society, N.R.A., and Severn Covenant Church. He enjoyed traveling especially taking cruises, fishing and boating, he was an avid Baltimore Colts and Ravens fan, and he loved his Corvette. Michael loved God, his country, and his family, especially his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Betty J. Kreiner; his loving sons, Ray (Penny) Kreiner, Michael Kreiner III, and David (Amy) Kreiner; his cherished grandchildren, Heather, Zach, Amanda, Hannah, Michelle, Sarah, Michael, Benjamin, Maddie, and Nathan; his beloved great-grandson, Aiden; and his dear sister, Jackie.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Tuesday, April 25th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, April 26th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
