Paul Bartholomew

Paul Bartholomew, 68, of Millersville, passed away on Dec. 11, 2018.

Paul was born in Baltimore to the late Walter and Theresa (DeAngeles) Bartholomew and graduated from Andover High School. Paul begin his career with Anne Arundel County in 1970 and retired in 2008 as a Customer Service Representative for the Department of Utilities. He loved his job and received numerous awards for his dedication. Paul met the love of his life Llyern in 1973 and they were married in 1974, together they raised their two children Theresa and Tony. Paul enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts, model trains, special jackets, and hats. However his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, they were his pride and in recent years a source of strength. His sense of unique humor will leave memories for his family to cherish for years to come.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael. He is survived by his loving wife, Llyern Bartholomew; children, Theresa Teets (Dale), Tony Bartholomew (Danielle); grandchildren, Samuel and Julia Teets, Vincent, Ava, and Dominic Bartholomew; sister, Joan Beecher; brother, John Bartholomew; mother-in-law, Virginia Abercrombie; numerous loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Sat., December 15th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. and on Sun., Dec. 16th from 7-9PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Mon., Dec. 17th, at 11 AM at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church 801 Stevenson Road, Severn, MD 21144. Memorial contributions in Paul’s name may be made to Anne Arundel County S.P.C.A.
