Phil Mathews

Charles Philip Mathews, Sr. "Phil", 79 and 5 months, of Glen Burnie passed away on April 24, 2016. Phil was born in 1936 in Maryland. He served in the US Army. Phil worked as a Switchboard Installer at Western Electric, which became AT&T and later Lucent Tech. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Phil enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, loved old cars, enjoyed gardening, and was just "proud to be an American". He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Mathews. He is survived by three children, Lynn McIntyre, Katie Cramblitt and her husband Mike, and Charlie Mathews, Jr. and his wife Joanne; grandchildren, Jessica Henderson and her husband Scott, Ashley Kidwell and her husband Chris, Justin and Sara McIntyre, and Logan Cramblitt; great-grandchildren, Killian, Aubrey and Lola Henderson, and Charlie and Graeme Kidwell; brother, Dave Mathews and his wife Janet; and his sister, Sally Haines and her husband Bobby.
