Richard Albright

March 24, 1926 — July 16, 2015

Richard K. (Dick) Albright, 89, a 62-year resident of Linthicum, passed away on July 16, 2015. He was born on March 24, 1926 in Greensburg, PA; proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II; graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Electrical Engineering; II; and retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He enjoyed traveling, reading, hunting, fishing, square dancing, playing golf and rooting for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels, was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge #1456 and the August J. Raveio American Legion Post 195, the Ferndale Roadrunners, the NRA and the Westinghouse Sportsman's Club. He was also an active member at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Linthicum.

Mr. Albright is survived by his loving wife, Elvera (Bosso-DePriest) Albright; sons, Richard (and wife Debi) and Douglas; step-daughter, Nancy DePriest (and husband Tony Lloyd) and step-son, Charles DePriest (and wife Patti). Grandchildren, Jason, Ivanna, Alexandra and Kiley Albright, Charles Soverns, Gina Soverns-Cunningham, and William and Brian DePriest, and great-granddaughter, Nora DePriest. He is also survived by his brother, William Albright; sister, Patricia Gropp; and many loving nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth (Libby) Albright; daughter-in-law, Janet Albright; sister, Maxine Lehman and brother, Robert Albright.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to: St. Johns Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Rd., Linthicum Heights, MD 21090.
