Robert Fogarty

Robert Henry Fogarty, 88 of Millersville, Maryland passed away on November 15, 2018

Bob was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennyslvania to Richard Henry Fogarty, Jr. and Phyllis Hue Fogarty, RN. He was a graduate of Radnor High School and The Pennsylvania State University. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the Navy. Bob worked for many years in sales and marketing for the Sun Oil Company in both Pennsylvania and in Greensboro, North Carolina. He retired from the Special Products Division of Seagram's in Relay, Maryland. Bob was a lifelong car and motorcycle enthusiast and he spent most weekends tinkering on his many vehicles which won numerous awards at area shows.

Preceding him in death are and his four sisters, Jean Rainsford, Phyllis Murphy, Betsy Stacks and Babs Chiappini.

Bob leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Jacques Fogarty, his son Paul Fogarty of Yardley, PA, his daughter Laurel Raymond (Dan) of Pasadena, MD, his daughter Diane Fitzberger (Steve) of Baltimore, MD and his son Rick Fogarty (Cherie) of Crownsville, MD; as well as his four grandsons, Mark Raymond of Denver, CO, Kevin Raymond (Becca) of Rosedale, MD, Joshua Fitzberger (Mandy) of San Diego, CA and Grant Fitzberger of Baltimore, MD and his two great-granddaughters, London and Luna Raymond; his older brother, Jack Fogarty along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church in Millersville, MD on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10: 00 a.m. Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
