Robert Hendershot Sr.

Robert Eugene Hendershot Sr., 72, of Severn, passed away on December 17, 2022. He was born in Odenton to the late Harry Watson and Florence Elizabeth Hendershot. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing with his son, dancing, watching westerns, NASCAR and traveling to Deep Creek and Ocean City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Darin Hendershot; and his siblings, Elmer, Harry, Bertha, Bill, Virginia, Maynard, Charles, Ted and Jimmy.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Lena Ruth Hendershot; devoted son, Robert Eugene Hendershot Jr. and his wife, Stefani; loving stepsons, Paul and Adam Lanehart; cherished grandchildren, Taylor Hendershot, Ashley Lanehart, Kerstin Lanehart, Serenity Lanehart, Kolson Lanehart, Kaytei Hall and Kylie Hall; and dear sisters, Shirley Pearson and Alice DeLair. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 Second Avenue, SW, (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Tuesday, December 27th, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 10:30 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
