Roberta Ryer

On May 19, 2017, Roberta Paula Ryer, 79, passed away at Hospice of the Chesapeake Inpatient Care Center. Roberta was born on February 4, 1938, in Baltimore, to the late Bertha and Paul Stiles, Sr. She was a homemaker that enjoyed crossword puzzles and cooking, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Roberta is survived by her beloved children, Donna M. Kenny, Wayne E. Ryer Sr., and Mark W. Ryer and his significant other, Connie Gurley; her loving grandchildren, David M. Kenny, Justin P. Kenny, Ashlee K. Ryer-Tate and her husband Zachary, Shane M. Ryer, Kyle M. Fisher and his fiancé, Anna Littlefield, and Mikayla N. Ryer; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Destiny Ryer, Landon Johnson, Brooke Tate, Mia and Mariah Theune, and Grayson Tate. Roberta was predeceased by her siblings, Paul Stiles Jr. and Louise Stiles, and her grandson, Wayne E. Ryer Jr.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Tuesday, May 23rd, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Roberta's name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
