On October 2, 2005, Roger Frank Carland Sr. of Glen Burnie, passed away at home. Devoted husband to Catherine L. Carland; Beloved father of Angela D. Bowen, Melissa A. Gossweiler, Roger F. Carland Jr. and step-father of Samantha L. Hartman; Cherished brother of Ralph D. Carland; Loving grandfather of four. He is predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Dolores Carland and his former wife, Elizabeth A. Carland.

A dock worker for Preston Trucking for many years, Roger liked to build models and also enjoyed shooting pool.
