Roger Mathis

Roger Paul Mathis, 69, of Millersville, passed away on November 11, 2022, at Anne Arundel Medical Center.  He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 4, 1953, to the late Mildred and William Mathis.  Roger worked as a custodian at McCrory’s Drug Store in Baltimore and he enjoyed watching wrestling, cheering on the Ravens and Orioles, watching old movies (especially Popeye), and listening to Elvis.  Roger was the best brother and brother-in-law anyone could ask for.

Roger is survived by his cherished sister, Shelby Holley; his loving brother-in-law, Desmond Holley; four nieces & nephews; thirteen great nieces & nephews; and two great-great nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A. in Glen Burnie on Monday, November 21st,  from 11-1.  A graveside service for Roger will be held following the visitation at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville.
