Timothy Carter, Sr

On June 10, 2016, Timothy Glenn Carter, Sr., age 54, of Crofton, MD, passed away at home surrounded by his family. Tim was born November 17, 1961 in Baltimore to John F. and Ellen J. Carter (both deceased). Raised in Glen Burnie his entire life, he graduated from GBHS in 1979. Tim met the love of his life, Carol, while working at Giant Food (35 years) and they married in 1985 and soon had two sons. Tim spent all his time with family, traveling each summer to see all 48 of the 50 states. He also enjoyed football and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carol Lee (Fox) Carter; and two sons, Timothy Glenn Carter, Jr. of Millersville and Ensign Thomas Edward Carter, USN of Hanover. They were and always will be his brightest stars in the sky. Tim was a very devoted husband and dad and loved them all so very much.

Tim is also survived by his sister, Rebecca M. Butcher (Craig) and his brother, John D. Carter (Sandy). He also leaves behind five nieces and nephews, Hayley (Jeremy), Meghan (Andrew), John, Daniel and Heather and many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tim's Life on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) from 11-1 PM.
