Vann B. Wade, 85, of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 26, 2022. He was born in Bells, Tennessee to the late Vann and Velma Wade. He honorably served his country in the Air Force from 1955-1959. Soon after, he began his career with Westinghouse / Northrop Grumman, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Annapolis Woodworkers Guild and enjoyed traveling in his motor home and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joe Wade and Ann Roydhouse.
Vann is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Annette B. Wade (nee Coffelt); loving sons, Terry and his wife, Lauren, Vann and his wife, Tammy; dear siblings, Frances Thurtell, Elise Nayden, Richard Wade (Donna); and his caring sister-in-law, Lorraine Wade.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, April 3rd, from 2 - 4 PM and on Monday, April 4th, from 12 - 1 PM. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
