Vincent Charles Samuel Vecchioni, 88, of Glen Burnie, passed away on November 28, 2022, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 2, 1934, to the late Mary and Samuel Vecchioni. Vincent worked for over 40 years at Continental Can Company in Baltimore as a tow motor mechanic. He loved playing music on his accordion, guitar, and harmonica, traveling, driving around, and spending time with his family.
Vincent was predeceased by his devoted wife of 57 years, Diana A. Vecchioni and his siblings, Carmela Kaufman, Freddie Vecchioni, Joe Vecchioni, Anna Marzola, Paul Vecchioni, and Tom Vecchioni. He is survived by his loving son, Vincent S. Vecchioni; his beloved daughter-in-law, Imelda Vecchioni; his cherished granddaughters, Ashley Vecchioni, Brittany (Cody Lindon) Vecchioni; and Samantha (Edwin) Hernandez; his cherished great-grandchildren, Tyler Dixon, Allison Lindon, Michael Lindon, Autumn Joseph, Jade Watson, Adilena Hernandez, and Sienna Hernandez; and his dear sisters, Angie Fishpaugh, Gloria Baker, and Theresa Vermillera.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church (formerly Holy Trinity), 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Parkwood Cemetery in Parkville, Maryland.
