William Edgar DeCoursey, 91, a lifelong resident of Linthicum, passed away on May 29, 2013 at his home. Bill was born on May 12, 1922 in Baltimore, MD and attended Glen Burnie High School. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II where he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal and then went on to work at Bendix in Towson, retiring in 1984. Bill enjoyed bowling, the Orioles, the Ravens and woodworking.
Bill was preceded in death by his devoted wife M. Vera DeCoursey, and his dear brother, Joseph DeCoursey. He is survived by his loving children, Marie C. Zeffiro and her husband Michael, Judith A. Campbell and her husband Daniel, Joyce A. Krieger and her husband Donald, and Wm. Joseph DeCoursey and his wife Deborah; his twelve cherished grandchildren and nine beloved great-grandchildren.
