Albert "Lee" Castle

October 1, 1943 — March 4, 2024

     On March 5, 2024, Albert “Lee” Castle, 80, passed away at Sinai Hospital.  Lee was born on October 1, 1943, in St. Paul, Virginia, to the late Flossie and Robert Castle.  He was a plumber and well driller by trade with various companies, the last one being Wolfords Well & Pump Service in Pasadena.  Lee loved his grandchildren most in his life, but also enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing, and cheering on the grandkids at their sporting events.


      In addition to his parents, Lee was predeceased by his devoted wife of 52 years, Rita A. Castle, and his dear siblings, Don Castle and Sylvia White.   He is survived by his beloved children, David L. Castle and his wife Bunny, Steven G. Castle, Matthew A. Castle and his wife Adrienne, and Kimberly A. Shaffer and her husband David; cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Britney, Dustin, Emily, Michael, Alicia, Gavin, Amber, and Andrew; adored great-grandchild, Rowan; and his loving brother, Glenn Castle.  


The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Sunday, March 10th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 11th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
