Albert Rice, Sr

Albert J. Rice, Sr. of Glen Burnie passed away at the Tate Hopsice House in Linthicum due to a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 50 years, Betty Ann Rice. Albert is survived by his children, Albert Rice Jr. & Brenda Stewart, his grandchildren, Albert III, Justin, Clayton & Cody and great-grandson, Christian. He is also survived by his dear siblings, John Rice & Marie Williams.
Albert was born in Baltimore to Helen & Harry Rice. He was the superintendant for Maryland Ship Building & Dry Dock for 37 years. Albert was a member of Project Liberty Ship, which is dedicated to the preservation of the S.S. JOHN W. BROWN. He enjoyed going to the theatre with his grandson, shopping, sight-seeing & traveling.
