Alexander Sabur Sr

Alexander F. Sabur Sr., 65, a 34 year resident of Glen Burnie, MD, passed away on April 5, 2013 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Alex grew up in Spotsylvania County, VA as the oldest of 5 children. He graduated from Spotsylvania High School and upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served until 1970. He went on to earn a bachelors degree from the University of Maryland College Park. He enjoyed movies, cooking, photography, traveling and spending time with his family. Alex is preceded in death by his father, Paul G. Sabur. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Atwood) Sabur, son Alexander Sabur Jr. and his wife Jackie, stepson, Michael Vice and his wife Julie, daughters, Jacqueline Sabur and Sherri Ousey and her husband Graham, brother, John Sabur, sisters, Susan Sabur, Donna Meyers and Diana Sabur, mother, Florence Sabur and 3 grandchildren. The family also wishes to extend their gratitude to all of the nurses, doctors and staff at the UMMC Heart Center.
