Alice Murphy

Alice V. Murphy, 73, of Pasadena passed away on January 19, 2018. Alice was born on February 23, 1944 to the late James D. and Alice Drury. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Drury.

Alice is survived by her husband, Edward Murphy, Sr.; her children, Alice Newton and husband, Wayne; and Edward Murphy, Jr. and wife, Shannon; her siblings, James Drury, Betty Musick, Shirley Drury, Debbie Drury and Donna Crouse; and her loving grandchildren, Lauren Newton, Astin and Spencer Murphy, and Nicholas Newton, who she loved spending time with and was very proud of.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
