Alice Roday

February 2, 1909 — January 26, 2006

On January 26, 2006, Alice Margaret Roday passed on. Alice was a lovely woman who will be missed by many people. She is survived by her loving sons, Theodore W. Betz and Robert J. Betz; her dear daughters, Peggy A. Frank and Nancy L. Brillant; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her dear husband of 14 years, Howard C. Roday; her first husband, Julius A. Betz, to whom she was married for 28 years; her sister, Elsie I. Higbee; her brothers, Willie T., Mahlon H., Harold B. and Theodore M. Higbee; and her grandson, Donald W. Betz. Alice was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She was was an employee of the American Standard in East Baltimore for 15 years as a receptionist. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Henry Brecht Chapter in Dundalk, MD; and a charter member of the Woolford Memorial Baptist Church in Dundalk, MD. Alice enjoyed many hobbies and interests including travel, needlework and cooking. One of her favorite hobbies was spending time with her family who loved her dearly.
