Allen Carter

Allen E. Carter, 73, of Myrtle Beach, passed away at his home on January 23, 2018. He was born in Baltimore to the late Freeman and Marie Carter. He retired from the Anne Arundel County Police Department after many years of service. After retirement, he worked for Baltimore City Police as a dispatcher. Allen was a member of FOP, Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge (where he was a lifetime member). He enjoyed NASCAR, watching old Western movies, baking, horses and ceramics. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Clinton Carter.
Allen is survived by his wife, Kim; daughter, Diana Lee Carter Williams and her husband, Gary; grandchildren, Michael Gary David Williams and MeganAshley Carter Williams; sister and brothers-in-law, Gloria Carter, Karen and Joe Zindorf, Bruce and Bonnie DeVincent, Mike DeVincent and Charlie McClure; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, Jan. 30th, from 11 AM - 1 PM. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
