Allen Keith Moreau, 80, of Glen Burnie died on December 5, 2011. Allen was born in 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland. He served in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate 3rd Class. Allen worked as a Millwright for Proctor & Gamble for 33 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Pascal Senior Center and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Allen enjoyed shooting pool, crabbing, camping, building model ships and fixing things. His hobbies also included skating, woodworking, vegetable gardening, welding, and spending time with his family. Allen enjoyed helping anyone in need. He coached the Glen Burnie Red Devils Fast Pitch Softball Team and was an avid whistler and bird caller. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Auberta M. Moreau; children, Alan Moreau and wife Debbie, Denise Blackiston and husband Dallas, Charles Moreau and wife Tricia, Michelle Pollack and husband Andrew, Jeff Moreau, and Colleen Gonzales and husband Bernardo; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marion Geiger. Donations may be made in his name to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy, Annapolis, MD 21401.
