Alma Poteet

On May 29, 2007, Alma Mae Poteet passed on. Alma was happily married to her late husband, Jerome B. Poteet, Jr., for 44 years. She is survived by her dear sons, Jerome Poteet, III, William Poteet, George Poteet and Larry Poteet; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Alma was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1926. She was a student at Glen Burnie High School from which she earned her high school diploma. During her career, she worked as a Civilian Clerical Worker for the United States Government at Fort Meade. She was a member of the Eastern Star #80 for many years. She was a also member of the former Navy Mother's Club #613. Alma enjoyed many hobbies, including crossword puzzles and watching gameshows on television. She was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Alma was a dear woman and she will be missed by many people.
